Review on 🚫 Sentry 2.0 Phone Call Blocker: The Ultimate Solution for Blocking Unwanted Calls by Amanda Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good product. When properly configured, stops ALL unwanted calls. Bad documentation.

Didn't get 5 stars because of bad documentation. I had to work out some functions myself. After figuring everything out, I decided that I really like this product. I've been bombarded by phone salespeople, exploratory and political calls, and collection agencies for other people (not me) who appear to have had my number before or simply used my loan application number. Anyway, this nifty little device stopped them all! It can be connected in series or parallel to your telephone system. However, if you chain it to your base station first, or from a phone line source to your home, and with the right settings, your phones won't ring at all for calls not on your whitelist. When connected in parallel, your phones will ring once and then stop for any non-whitelisted calls. (The first call is for caller ID information.) COMMENTS ON OTHER BAD REVIEWS: Some bad reviews I've read are due to a misconfiguration I think. No problems, I've been using it for a long time. Didn't break, didn't have to be changed etc. Like "faster" voice announcer. That tells them you mean business. The caller will call back after pressing 0 to prevent the robotic voice from leaving a message on your computer or getting through. I consider this a valuable feature. If the legitimate caller can't get through, it means they're blacklisted or didn't listen to the recorded message, press 0 and call back. Only a small amount of human intelligence is required. The monkey can control this device. Changing batteries every few days? I've had the same set of batteries since I got them a few months ago and they're still working. As with anything, there may be a lemon here and there, but overall I think it's a great device.
