Savior! for accessories and consumables

Of course I'm exaggerating, but not by much. I'm a technical consultant working from home. My phone rings about 10 times *every hour* during business hours and at least 9 out of 10 of those calls are spam. This device is the sentinel of sanity. Blocks 100% spam, cold. And just for reference, a CPR call blocker with a big red "BLOCK" button, which is Revain's "choice" call blocker, is as useful as a piece of rock (yes I have it too, bought it from Revain too) . Only known numbers are blocked…

"The Greatest After Sliced Bread "

As you know, spammers and robots are now constantly changing the phone number displayed on their ID card (thanks to the US government and Do-Not-Call for such a lousy job, this blocking assholes) - and this trick also bypasses the No More Robo Call service. So I spent the whole day blacklisting my phone and landline provider, Panasonic. Ugh, ugh, ugh Voila ("wah-lah”), this device does a PERFECT job, -> PROBLEM SOLVED. My Panasonic phone allows me to block the first call so I can't hear…

The most annoying thing is having to turn the line off and on.

He had some time and just hooked up. Entering numbers that you want to accept or reject takes too long. It's easiest when the phone rings, then you can, but you have to be nearby for that. The most frustrating thing is that every time you want to check or do something you have to unplug the line and remove the batteries. The instructions say to do this when it freezes, but really EVERY TIME? It also tells the caller to press 0 if you're not a telemarketer and leave your message, and that…

Device started freezing after two months

After just two months, the device's display started to freeze, as noted by other reviewers. "Fiix" is intended to disconnect and reconnect the device from the incoming phone line. This mostly works. Sometimes I have to do the "fix" multiple times before it works, but it's a headache. Also, I don't know if calls will be blocked while the screen is locked or not. I don't want to test/fix the display features every day to make sure they are working properly. Sort reviews by "critical reviews" to…

Shooting stars are best seen in Caller ID

It's ok. However, on my V-Tech phones, the caller ID is now not showing on the phone. Writes only incoming call. I'd rather know who's calling on my whitelist before I pick up the phone. It's worth half the start. The speaker volume is so low that I have to hold it to my ear like a phone. That cost you another half star. I can't preview additional greetings, I have to call my own phone to find out what it's about. I can't record my own greeting the way I want. Half a star. When a call comes in…

I wish I had bought this sooner!

We have Comcast for our home phone. They let you block numbers on their website but they only let you block 25 numbers so you have to unblock old numbers to block new ones. We got at least a dozen calls from Derry, New Hampshire that day; We don't know or do business with anyone there, and the callers left no messages. I blocked them on Comcast but as soon as I blocked the last one they called us again from Derry, New Hampshire from a different number. Our rule is, if we don't recognize the…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • boring packaging

Didn't get 5 stars because of bad documentation. I had to work out some functions myself. After figuring everything out, I decided that I really like this product. I've been bombarded by phone salespeople, exploratory and political calls, and collection agencies for other people (not me) who appear to have had my number before or simply used my loan application number. Anyway, this nifty little device stopped them all! It can be connected in series or parallel to your telephone system. However,

Peace and quiet, FINALLY!

This is one of the best devices I have ever bought. Now my phone is silent day and night. When he calls, I know it's someone I WANT to talk to. For those who buy one of these call blocking devices, I have a word of advice: whitelisted devices are the ONLY way. Devices that just get blacklisted are a waste of money as you can NEVER keep up with scammers, there are too many of them and they use new/different fake numbers on every call! I first tried a blacklisted call blocker and sent it back…
