I am a truck driver and have had many headsets over the years from cheap shopping cart to top shelf (Blue Parrot 250, 350 and 450, PT Legend Voyager, Blue Tiger, Road King, Auto and rider, road pro etc), I can definitely say this is the best I've ever had. The noise cancellation is on par, if not better, than other big players in the industry. People I speak to ask "Have you parked?" (and I'm from Blue Parrot 350xt). Connecting is very easy; When you first start it, it immediately goes into pairing mode and also has integrated NFC. The buttons are intuitive and easy to use, charging is via Micro-USB, the battery lasts forever and the microphone arm is easy to rotate and adjust. . The only two parts I've seen fail prematurely are the small wire that connects the earcup to the headband; I could easily imagine the headset slipping on impact on a bump and a small wire snagging on something on the way down. The tiny on/off button also feels a little flimsy; I would prefer a button type similar to the volume buttons. At first I found it a bit uncomfortable for the shape of my head and thought "Damn, so-so", but then I started playing with the headband, EUREKA! After bending and shaping it to my liking, this is by far the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. The memory foam padding is very soft and comfortable, and while the headset is fairly bulky and feels solid (not the lightest at all), it doesn't feel heavy once fitted and has almost no pressure points. . The ear cushions are nice and soft and offer a decent seal while blocking out ambient noise. Some reviewers mentioned that the audio wasn't loud enough even at maximum volume, I didn't find that a problem; I've had louder headsets, but this one's "sound isolation" is good enough to deliver less volume (which can't be bad for your ears). If I could only make one recommendation: Please Plantronics, go "anything" with an industrial look/appearance, ignore the bulk and make an in-ear version (as opposed to this in-ear design), same materials, same cushioning quality, just a larger/deeper "cup" that covers the entire ear and rests on the surrounding skull. Just call it Voyager 104 XL or whatever. I would definitely buy it immediately! Other than that I'm very happy with it and if you don't feel comfortable at first, remember, don't be afraid to pry and bend the headband; You're bound to find the perfect fit. This one is clearly made for truckers and it goes to show that I would definitely feel silly wearing it in the car, but for chatting in the truck all day, I love it! Let's hope he survives the life of OTR for a while.
