They look great added to my 2009 F150 XLT which had no dimming no lights but the wiring was already in the door. I wouldn't recommend wiring any portion of the running lights to just the turn signal unless you want a bright white light all the time. I tried but turned off some of the running lights and just turned on the turn signal, they look cool.
