I'm getting older and fatter and I'm looking for ways to move more. I figured I could bike to the grocery store to do some small shopping. But I had to figure out how to get groceries home, so I decided to attach a milk crate to the trunk above the bike's rear tire. After playing around with ropes, rubber bands, and other things scattered around the house, I finally gave in and bought these straps. You are perfect. It goes through holes in the milk crate and can be spaced about 10 inches apart, securely attaching the milk crate to the rack. They are also strong and durable and short enough not to leave several feet of loose ends hanging around. So if I bike the 1.5 mile to the grocery store to buy milk or a loaf of bread or whatever, I now have a place to drop it on the way home. Great strap.
