Nothing like the original The meshes in my factory fans are warped and occasionally slightly rusted and on my model the screens were not removed without removing the surround, that's what I thought would be a good solution. Unfortunately, the plastic is very flimsy and flimsy. Once I installed it, the screen would not snap back into the frame (thin plastic kept flexing). I took it off to try and see if I could secure it somehow to keep it from bending and accidentally dropped it on the floor. It crashed after falling from a height of 6 feet onto the vinyl floor of an RV. It didn't impress at all. Assuming this is a genuine Ventline product, I tend to just replace all the venting with a Fan-Tastic vent.
