They are not really living

To my dismay, these "living" baskets were not really sentient beings. I tried to discuss quantum physics with one of them and got the same reaction as my cats, just a blank and blank stare. Frustrated, I filled it with crap for storage and it seems to be working fine. I still try to talk to him every day. my life is sad
