I. EFFING. LOVE. THE. RULER. This is my tool when I cut paper and cardboard. I often work on projects or prepare lesson materials outside of school hours when I'm not very attentive, and I've never slipped or injured myself using this ruler. It has survived regular use and been abandoned for just over a few years and is still in excellent condition. Markers and numbers are still like new and the non-slip backing hasn't deteriorated. The design works very well when the backing holds the ruler in place and the beveled edge rests on the paper for accuracy. I have many metal and plastic rulers for drawing and cutting and this is the one I use the most.
