Review on EARTHLITE Wooden Step Stool Surface by Jessica Lewis

This is a well-made, very sturdy step stool with a wide platform to rest both feet on. Check out the other reviews though, it's a bit slippery depending on what you have on your feet. Certain slippers and definitely socks can spell disaster. I am 68 years old and used a very small plastic step stool to get up onto my extra high bed and kept tripping over the stool. I doubt I'll trip over this stool, but the surface really needs something to provide you with some grip so you don't slip and hurt yourself. Other than that it's really well made, looks good and holds my weight well at #150 without sagging. I'll look for some sort of traction strip as previous reviews have stated as I was immediately struck by how slick the surface is. I would recommend this stool with added traction straps for added security.
