My older daughters and wife have quite thick medium length hair. Because of the heat, they like to style their hair when they are lazy and when they don't feel like styling their hair before going outside. In the past they always had problems with hair combs not holding their hair because their hair is so thick. And if they extended their claws further, they often broke. So far, with these clips, her hair stays in these clips. None have broken yet, which is good because we'd be checking those clips out quickly. Everyone said those clips wouldn't hurt either because some of the clips they've used in the past had sharper points that dig into the scalp.
