These are good boots for winter weather but probably only suitable for light to moderate snow use. The design looks great, with a fairly flexible rubber outsole designed for traction on slippery surfaces. Love the added rubber toe protection - great for active kids! Elastic no-tie laces make it easy to get into the boot, while the Velcro ankle strap ensures a snug fit. There is black faux fur inside for extra warmth but I don't think they stay warm for long in the cold. I also find the label "snow" a bit far-fetched. There is no protection against snow or water getting into the boot as the tongue of the boot is separate from the sides. Anyone who has ever walked on snow knows that this will be a major problem and the possibility of water ingress! A little snow might be fine, but if snow starts to build up, you might want to reconsider using these Quickshark kids' boots. The materials are of good quality and the overall construction and stitching are of high quality. If you understand the limitations, these boots can perfectly fit your child's needs!
