Consider the limitations of your device

I bought two of these cards for use in digital audio recorders, believing the higher capacity would allow me to record longer uncompressed WAV files. The problem is that recorders were made before the compact flash format was such a high capacity and I have found that any card over 2 gigabytes in recorders becomes unstable. I now use these cards to move video files, but due to the FAT 32 file format, 4 gigabytes is the largest single file size I can put on the card, although its total capacity is much larger. Take away food. Please make sure that your device's firmware and processor support a card of this capacity before purchasing.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
