I thought it was a real hard zipped briefcase but it's not; It only zips up at the top, which means you have to put papers in instead of opening the briefcase all the way and putting it inside. The material has no cardboard lining; inside was just a piece of thick cardboard to help it hold its shape somewhat. Also, the zipper is about 2 inches long on one side, so once you get your papers out, you'll need to cover them with the edge of your briefcase. It's made from water-resistant canvas, which is a good thing. durable which is also good. I'll probably go for the more expensive one,
