Wonderful (when used as a backlight). I use it after washing and drying with a towel. I apply it to damp hair and after brushing. Be careful not to overdo it, build it up but not to the point where it gets very thick (even with a hair dryer it takes forever to dry and becomes uncombable). Blow dry your hair until very dry and then finger comb or comb through. They should be very soft and blend with undyed hair. I've slept with color and it doesn't transfer to pillowcases. My hair is medium to dark brown and straight (blow dry, wavy when air dried) and the colors come out really well even with a small amount (I have blue too). Overall I like it very much, it rinses out completely and doesn't damage my hair, it's fun to change the highlights every day if I want to.
