Used in my M12 die grinder, ¼" shank. Cuts steel and cast iron like butter. Seems pretty cheap for what it does, the amount of bits, that you get and the case that you don't have to throw away right away, it's actually a very nice thing.

These are Superb Carbide Burs. I've bought many cheap router bits in the past and they dull and sharpen faster than stock. They cut clean, fast, smooth and stay sharp! I would buy them again in a heartbeat, but I don't need them because they are durable!

arrived on time but all the parts were scattered and sloppy in the case which also broke after a week. Unfortunately, later bits didn't work on hardened steel. a lot of sweat and valuable time was also wasted. Sorry you didn't purchase higher quality carbide than YG8

Finally able/must use them and the burrs just fell off the taper. Hardly anything touches low alloy stainless steel (308). I haven't tried the others on this stuff since the first one just blew up. I tried another burr on a medium carbon steel and it seemed to work, but I bought this one because the description lists STAINLESS STEEL PART as one of the metals it can work with. You will not. Waste of $50!

Good selection of bits for general metal production. I have found the selection of specific bit shapes and sizes in this set to be very helpful. I ordered these in addition to the few that came with my set of Astro grinders and the ones included in the set were better and came in a much better case. This doesn't hold the bits very securely, the part that should keep them from falling out inside the case can move, so most bits can fall out when closed, which happened during shipping. Double…
