I plan on getting more

I actually purchased this afer i got a finer one in a different shape. They hold up really well, im using to care hardwoods for utensils i found it worked great for heavy removal and since it fits in my rotory tool its perfect. I plan on ordering more of the brand in the future

Pros
  • Used for bulk reduction in my wood carving pieces.
Cons
  • The fine grit may not be strong enough for tougher materials

Love love love this truly amazing product!

I just love these. They work very well and they come in multiple different shapes and sizes. I will be buying all of them shortly I like them that much. Use them for various metal and wood work. They work way better than any other Dremel parts and they remove metal, wood, clay, plastics, you name it super quickly

Pros
  • These things rip through wood with ease
Cons
  • May not be as effective as other burrs on the market

Love love love it! for my opinion

This bit has been a miracle worker for me! It shaves off wood like it's nothing. It's very durable. I've used it a lot and it acts like it's still brand new. Purchase this. It's worth every cent!

Pros
  • Removes wood as advertised!! Great little tool for removing hard to get to areas. Will buy again!
Cons
  • May produce a lot of dust during use

Want To Save Time and Money?

I was looking for something to help with bulk reduction with material. The Kutzall cylinder bur was just what I was looking for.I am cutting vine maple and dogwood, both are very hard wood. The Kutzall cut right thru without clogging up or wearing down.I plan on acquiring a couple of different shapes of these. No more dulling my other burs that are much more expensive than the Kutzall. They have turned out to be a great value for my carving as they last forever. Thanks

Pros
  • Works fine in my dremel
Cons
  • Shaft size may not be compatible with other rotary tools

Works Great - my new review

i used this to remove those crappi finger 'grooves' from my G35. not only am i able to hold a 'bump free' higher grip, the roughened texture helps my hold.

Pros
  • The burr arrived on time and works well.
Cons
  • Not recommended for use with dense or wet materials

I love this burr! - my new review

At first I thought this was a bit pricey, but it didn't take long at all to be one of my most used bits. Cuts thru walnut no problem.

Pros
  • Does exactly what I wanted it to do: remove wood quickly.
Cons
  • Not as durable as higher-end burrs

Little pricey, but worth it!

I bought a few other bits from this company, and they’ve all been great. This is the only one where I have ever questioned the durability. I think its because it’s a longer piece and easier to bend if you put too much pressure on it (which heavy pressure is already a no no with the Rotary tools). Use it appropriately and you shouldn’t have a problem. I do think I overpaid a bit. However it’s better to overpay for a tool that works than underpay for a tool that doesn’t.

Pros
  • Extreme course burr makes wood cutting easy
Cons
  • May break or chip if subjected to excessive force

Great value very durable against lead and epoxy

Had to grind a pound of potted lead shot in epoxy some idiot glued into a model airplane. Did the job and only lost 1 tooth. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • This cylinder work extremely well with removing small amounts of woods from a wood sculpture
Cons
  • Can be difficult to sharpen
