A must-have for wood power carving

I use these burr on every project. You start with these course bits to get most of the carving done then switch to finner bits to clean up

Pros
  • These things rip through wood with ease
Cons
  • May damage or weaken the strength of certain types of wood

A superior carving tool

This burr is amazing! In the pic, the lower was carved by a lesser brand. Effective, but it left a lot of sanding. The Kitzal burr carved much faster and cleaner! Well worth the $. Plus the stress it saves on my rotary tool is incalculable.

Pros
  • Worked great for slot in yarn bowl
Cons
  • Not effective for smoothing rough surfaces

Kutzall, what else do I need to say!

These Kutzall bits are just AMAZING! I have never been disappointed with any of their burrs! Good value for sure. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Very good cutters. Seller is great!
Cons
  • Longer usage can lead to overheating and damage to tool

Great for hogging out excess wood where needed.

Very aggressive for which I am very comfortable with. I am carving fish and it really rough them down fast, more than carbide cutters and sanders in rotary tool. I only have .125 dia. Chuck so I'm limited to size. Can't wait to get bigger chuck and rotary tool size to accept 1/4" size.

Pros
  • The burr arrived on time and works well.
Cons
  • Difficult to control during use

One of the best: my feedback

Kutzall burrs make shaping figures in wood a snap. Using the various densities from extreme to fine with a Dremel flex shaft is like drawing in 3D

Pros
  • Hogs soft wood quite well. Nice addition to a dremel tool to tackle soft wood on small jobs.
Cons
  • Ineffective for larger projects
