I like this product. The smell is ok, not bad as described here. I find it softens my beard really well. I use it when I'm at home all day, I don't use it to go outside as I find it a little heavy and greasy, and use the balm before I head out the door. BUT, they have reduced the size of the container from 4 oz to 3 oz since I bought it last January but the price has stayed the same Update 11/18/21: 1 star I have bought this product 4 times in the last 3 years and I used to like it. This is not the same product as before. It used to be a thick paste that had to be rubbed between hands to soften it. It was a great product, it did what it was supposed to do. Now it's a light cream, almost runny and doesn't do anything.
