These hockey puck light bulbs in my kitchen under the cabinet are amazing. To make them last for years, and they will, you can't touch them directly with your fingers. Something about oils on the skin. If you hold the bulb with a paper towel or something similar, they will last a long time. If you touch them directly, only expect a few months. This applies to lamps of any brand, not just this one.
