I bought this soundbar to connect to a turntable, more for the idea that it's small and fits well in the room. I was planning on connecting it to the turntable with the cables provided (RCA) so that it doesn't have to be plugged in via Bluetooth (BT) every time I use it, but switched BT right in between. The volume is adjusted with the knob on the right side of the soundbar or with the remote control. The sound is great for a small to medium sized room and can get louder than I'll ever need.
