The design and quality of this case is good. It fits my iPad Air very well, all access holes lined up perfectly. I especially like the extra protection around the perimeter of the back cover. This provides additional protection for switches, ports and speakers thanks to the harder plastic. The top and back cover material is what I would describe as non-rubberized plastic. In other words, despite the texture of the leather, this case is quite slippery and therefore slips a bit on any non-horizontal surface or in a moving vehicle. My previous case had more non-slip material to better hold it in place. The top cap is a regular triple cap but it's a bit stiff as I've only had it a week. It takes a bit of effort and error to get the lid to easily hold the tablet in a propped position, both low and high. My newest cover, JETech, had a split edge problem and had to keep re-taping the seams. These seams appear to be taped fairly well, but time will tell. At under $10 this case seems like real value and I would recommend it for your iPad Air. Just remember that it only fits Air, not Air 2.
