I wish they hadn't printed the company logo/info on the back of the dachshund - it ruins the decorative effect. My cats love it because it offers a no-no! possibility of scratching. But I think it looks pretty cheap. Let's see how long this lasts. He's also quite small. I should have looked at the measurements when ordering but was sure from the photo - they must have used a tiny kitten for the photo because my Dexter is dangling. I bought the Scratcher Lounge from PetFusion a few years ago. I still have it, and although it's been in constant use, it still looks decent, so I expected the same quality from this dog, but it almost looks like a hobby project to take home. UPDATE: I've stumbled across this dog multiple times upon waking up in the morning. My cat drags the bed around the house! Either he wants to tell me what he thinks of dogs or he tells me to put the thing up for adoption. LAST UPDATE: 3 months later - this dog has been humanized.
