The cat didn't like it.

The product is much smaller than it looks. My cat is small and could not stretch out on the scratching post like in the photo. The cat scratching post is made out of cardboard and is basically the same as the scratching posts I can buy at Trader Joe's for less than $10. To top it off, my cat decided he'd rather eat it than scratch it and started chewing it in chunks!

Pros
  • GOLS certified

  • Definitely bad product

Kittens in Paradise

I originally bought this as a joke because my sister has a Weiner dog that my cats hate. Well, kidding me, because my cats love this thing. They scratch it so much that I'll have to buy a new one soon because they tear it up. My only concern is that it easily rips apart so far that I have to vacuum it every day because it just rips and spreads all over my dining room.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

  • Some problems

Smaller than listed

I ordered this "Dachshund Recycled Paper Scratch Board" and paid more than double the price of the last one I had (Catit) because the size of this board should have been should be bigger. Not so! It says 26 inches long. It's only 20 inches. I will never order these again. He will get used to it, just not the biggest of our 3 cats who loves to play around on his scratching posts. PetFusion could be the next purchase, even if it happens. Worth a lot more as the reviews were very good and it might

not recommended best in bedding and furniture

Yes, I should have read the actual measurements first. But I was fooled by a very cute picture. The cat in this picture is either very small or a kitten; The patch itself is very small. But the main problem is the design. To prevent the catnip from flowing down, a sheet of paper will do, not even covering the entire required area and fastened with very weak glue. Since the pad is so small my cats pushed it, the sheet came off and all the lost catnip turned into a mess. Therefore I cannot…

Great scraper! - Cat Trees

Strong and durable. I bought scratching posts to fit the claw holders and after a few days they fell apart leaving a huge amount of shredded cardboard within a 2 foot radius of the claw holder. Not to mention that the cat can pull the cardboard block out of the stand, spreading the mess even more. My cat of this type lasts a week at most. Use on both sides! This stand lasted my 17lb Ragdoll cat who is very strong for 3 weeks and I suspect it will last at least 3 more weeks. very little messed…

cute but tiny Best in Beds & Furniture

I wish they hadn't printed the company logo/info on the back of the dachshund - it ruins the decorative effect. My cats love it because it offers a no-no! possibility of scratching. But I think it looks pretty cheap. Let's see how long this lasts. He's also quite small. I should have looked at the measurements when ordering but was sure from the photo - they must have used a tiny kitten for the photo because my Dexter is dangling. I bought the Scratcher Lounge from PetFusion a few years ago. I…
