The product is much smaller than it looks. My cat is small and could not stretch out on the scratching post like in the photo. The cat scratching post is made out of cardboard and is basically the same as the scratching posts I can buy at Trader Joe's for less than $10. To top it off, my cat decided he'd rather eat it than scratch it and started chewing it in chunks!

I originally bought this as a joke because my sister has a Weiner dog that my cats hate. Well, kidding me, because my cats love this thing. They scratch it so much that I'll have to buy a new one soon because they tear it up.
