Not perfect, depends on usage

Doesn't quite match the screen perfectly - about 2mm more than the inner frame on either axis. Causes it to unfold, blurring the image from the top and side. I might try cutting with a paper cutter if I can find a big and sharp one. I'm not sure if that's a good idea; it can crack. I'd say that at around 45 degrees of deflection it cuts out 80% of the light and the windshield around 30%. Luckily my monitor gets really bright so I can compensate for that. But then it also makes more things visible from an angle. I'd say the shapes and windows are easy to see even from an angle, but people won't see any text or color in passing. This is useful for my work as I can have sensitive things on screen if someone breaks my cube. The material will be text, so this works for me. I used to do a bit of school work during breaks and that gave me the confidence that no one would complain about it. I think that makes my colleagues suspicious, but that doesn't bother me. I have a good reason. I just hope nobody steals it and takes it home since I paid for it. For large monitors, the left and right edges may be faded depending on the distance. On a 24-inch, 16 x 10 aspect ratio screen, the sides are definitely tinted more, maybe 50% while the center is tinted 30%. Edges and fitting I would give 5 stars (at least for this price). Different colors would be cool too. I had gold on a laptop once, it was cute. For me that's hardly enough.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
