Excellent side coverage.

I was sent the wrong item in damaged packaging. After several phone calls and emails, I didn't get very far. When I sent another email a week later, they immediately took care of the issue and resent my actual product. It arrived fairly quickly and in good condition. The screen fits perfectly, comes with two different mounting options (everything is described with pictures, not words) and handles corners perfectly. You can still see the screen as bright as day from up to 30 feet away when…

Effective but darkens the screen.

The fit was perfect and it practically stays on the screen by itself with no extras. The filter is effective for achieving privacy, but it darkens the screen badly, especially around the edges (you have to move your head to see all parts of a widescreen monitor clearly). Can't say I wasn't warned by reading other reviews but I was hoping this would be a bit clearer than it actually is. The bottom line is, if you need on-screen privacy, this works. However, don't expect the display to be as…

You need to get your monitor in angelic order.

You must set your monitor to Angle mode for the filter to work. Otherwise, people can still see it clearly, especially when walking or standing behind you. So the idle setup would be for a multi-monitor setup where you put one of the two monitors at an angle. Also, make sure it's glued to the very top of the panel, otherwise the screen gets very blurry, which is why some people say it's bad for the eyes.

Does the job I needed it for.

I bought these on purpose as I had a serious problem with eye twitching and I felt the screen would help reduce eye strain. I bought two (one for each of my monitors at work) and within a week or two my eye stopped twitching completely! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the little tabs that are supposed to hold it in place don't really work. The edge of the monitor sticks out further than the screen itself, so the filter likes to stick out rather than lie on top of the…

No lookie-loos with this privacy filter

I work in an open plan office where my eyes are naturally drawn to my bright screen. It got to the point where people couldn't take their eyes off what was on my screen when talking to me, so I decided to look into privacy filters. Some cost $300-400 so I decided to try this one. In short, this is a great product. More expensive filters have a plastic frame and can snap onto the screen, but this sits directly on the screen meaning this filter takes up absolutely no space in my workspace. It…

Privacy but bad for the eyes

I bought two of these to have privacy on my office screens and only used them for a few days before taking them down and putting them in a closet. They make the screen so dim that even at maximum brightness it's difficult for me to see comfortably. Maybe they're good for some, but for me I won't be using them with these monitors. They fit well and I didn't have to use clips to attach them to the screen - they just fit snugly into the frame and stay in place. And they offered privacy, although I

Not perfect, depends on usage

Doesn't quite match the screen perfectly - about 2mm more than the inner frame on either axis. Causes it to unfold, blurring the image from the top and side. I might try cutting with a paper cutter if I can find a big and sharp one. I'm not sure if that's a good idea; it can crack. I'd say that at around 45 degrees of deflection it cuts out 80% of the light and the windshield around 30%. Luckily my monitor gets really bright so I can compensate for that. But then it also makes more things…
