Privacy but bad for the eyes

I bought two of these to have privacy on my office screens and only used them for a few days before taking them down and putting them in a closet. They make the screen so dim that even at maximum brightness it's difficult for me to see comfortably. Maybe they're good for some, but for me I won't be using them with these monitors. They fit well and I didn't have to use clips to attach them to the screen - they just fit snugly into the frame and stay in place. And they offered privacy, although I still had to adjust the angle of the screen so people didn't get right behind me while I was working on sensitive elements. In the end, they do what they say, but they're not for everyone. . If you want to see if you're comfortable using these filters, turn your monitor's brightness down by half and work like that for a few days. If you're acting up, rubbing your eyes, and squinting at the end of this test, then this isn't for you. If your eyes get used to the dimmer well, they might suit you.
