Effective but darkens the screen.
The fit was perfect and it practically stays on the screen by itself with no extras. The filter is effective for achieving privacy, but it darkens the screen badly, especially around the edges (you have to move your head to see all parts of a widescreen monitor clearly). Can't say I wasn't warned by reading other reviews but I was hoping this would be a bit clearer than it actually is. The bottom line is, if you need on-screen privacy, this works. However, don't expect the display to be as bright or sharp as a monitor without a filter.
