These sponges are affordable and mostly work well but unlike many competing products they come with all sorts of scratch warnings which worries me a little where I can use - and state very clearly that they cannot be used on stainless steel at all. It's clear that many competing products won't scratch surfaces like stainless steel, non-stick cookware, or glass; They have warnings about testing in 'low profile' etc which seem to be more for backup than promising you anything about surfaces. I would be very careful using them on any surface I want to keep the finish on and I would not have ordered them had I seen the disclaimer first. If you're not worried about scratches, they seem fine.
