At first I had some doubts about this laptop, I thought it was a real piece of junk for under $300 but turns out this laptop has a few surprises that it make an incredible bargain The build quality of the laptop is SURPRISINGLY GOOD. The top case is still plastic, but it looks like a strong and durable plastic. The lid of the laptop is actually made of metal and looks very solid. The trackpad on the laptop is really usable and supports multi-gesture functionality. If you're upgrading from a MacBook, you'll feel right at home - it's not as good as the MacBook's trackpad (they're still the best), but this one works very well. I was also impressed by the performance of this laptop. In actual testing, I'd say it's about as powerful as my 2015 MacBook Pro (they have similar hardware components). He works like a champ with Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro. What I like most about this laptop is that it has TWO internal drive bays: an m.2 slot AND a 2.5" SATA port. So when I got this laptop, I removed the included 128GB SSD and put in my own SSD m.2 1TB AND 2.5" SSD 1TB. Although the RAM in this laptop is soldered to the circuit board, it has it has a DDR4 expansion slot inside so you can expand the memory even further. If you set up an Apple MacBook Pro, the same configuration would cost you between $2,500 and $3,000!On this laptop, I got about $550 spent on the extra SSDs and RAM. The only real downside to this laptop is the display. This is by no means a BAD display, it does a great job on normal work and is very bright. But it's a lower resolution display so if you're using it Photoshop or similar it can feel a bit cramped. The display also doesn't show colors very accurately, colors are very desaturated and it also shifts colors towards blue.So if you're doing important graphics For getting work done, the screen on this laptop isn't that great, but it's okay for everyday tasks. The other downside is the battery life, it's nowhere near as good as the MacBook's battery life, but it lasts. for an hour or two without a network connection. But yeah, if you just need a laptop to surf the web, check Facebook, watch YouTube, this laptop is great. Much more functional than a tablet, it has a nice big 15 inch display, a keyboard, it's very fast, if you need more storage you can add it later. I absolutely recommend this laptop for normal people.
