Disposable razors are average. They have their pros and cons. I ordered these for myself and my husband as we both prefer disposable items for convenience. The handles on them have a rubberized grip, making them comfortable to hold even in the shower without the risk of slipping. The protective case slides in and out easily, but only on one side (which I like more than the ones that open and detach). The grease strip did not lubricate. To test this and make sure I give it a go, I just shaved with water. I had to make sure the area I shaved stayed wet because the strip did nothing, unlike other brands where the lube strip leaves a jelly-like residue to help the blades glide. It didn't feel like it would slip even just touching it with my fingers. As for the actual shaving, I was shaved well and closely and not a single hair was missed. There was no irritation or redness afterwards. Overall I love these Bic Disposables and will continue to use them.
