I was surprised when I opened the packaging to see how thick this storage box was. With a thickness of 2.8 inches and a weight of 1 lb 11 oz, it is neither thin nor light as described in the product description. However, it fits my 12.9-inch 5th Gen iPad Pro very well, with no extra width or height. In addition, it offers good protection thanks to its durable outer shell and thick padding. There are plenty of pockets for accessories, including a large one for a portable keyboard. The iPad case itself is large enough for my iPad with the Brydge MAX+ keyboard case attached. Overall it's a well-made product, but too thick to fit in a backpack laptop bag (as I intended). I wish Typecase was more open in terms of size.
