I run it on batteries and it works perfectly. The screen is super clear and bright. We used it for our mini playstation and nintendo switch. Both worked fine and very bright. It went through a G charge so my switch stays charged while my daughter plays. My battery says the switch and screen draws 9-10 watts all the time, it's amazingly efficient. One minus - the built-in speakers. They are pleasant to switch on, but are not loud at full volume. The daughter uses headphones through the connector and is happy. Good work on this product.
