I've searched everywhere for a tank bag with a window that I can put my iPhone 7+ in to view route information and that also fits on a Harley. There were reviews everywhere about everyone I found between the magnets not being strong enough to prevent the phone from fitting so no one would use it on a Harley. This one met the criteria for a phone fit, so I took a chance that the magnets were strong enough and that it would fit my bike and gave it a try. Let me assure everyone that the magnets are definitely strong enough and fit my bike well, but the phone barely fits when you plug it in. More on that below. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it. Pros: 1) Very well made with good stitching and thick material. It doesn't look cheap at all. 2) The window pane fits my iPhone 7+ even with the case on. 3) Comes with a strap long enough to fit over my frame, including where the bag sits (see photo). A strap is not needed as the magnets are strong enough to hold the bag securely to the bike but I put it on for photos and for reassurance because the bag will contain all my expensive electronics. 4) Very strong magnets placed in small pouches with enough space to add a second one if you find it necessary. A Velcro closure keeps the pockets closed for easy access. Felt gliders protect your paintwork from scratches (should be determined if repeated putting on and taking off of the bag does not at least cause slight scratches on the surface from dirt or deposits between the felt and paintwork) Can be used as a shoulder strap when carrying a bag. Cons: 1) The clear case is ONLY big enough to hold an iPhone 7+ with the charging cable attached. Pressure on the connection from a tight fit. This can be reduced with a right angle lighting connection if you find it necessary. I just use the right fit and it works. 2) There is no cable hole in the transparent case to connect to your bike's charger or USB port. It's a shame, because making long journeys with route information constantly on display means your phone's battery will never last. I ended up punching a small hole between the main compartment of the bag and the clear pocket to route the cable through either the power bank or the USB port on the bike (through the zipper). It works but I'm sorry I had to damage the bag to make it work. 3) The clips for the strap are plastic and it is very difficult to attach them to the plastic rings on the bag. This is the only cheap part of the bag and I expect they will break quickly with repeated use. Luckily, they're pretty easy to replace. 4) The latter is not a fault of the bag but a fault of using the bag on the Harley. He closes the switch on my bike. That means I have to open my bag when I stop just to turn off the extra lights and everything. Not that big of a deal because I won't be leaving a bag on the bike with all my electronics, but it still needs to be done. 5) The last very small downside is that the bag isn't necessarily waterproof but it does come with a cover that you can throw over it to protect it from the rain. I expect it can handle light rain on its own, but heavy rain will require a rain cover, making it impossible to read your phone's route in a clear case. It would be nice to include a clear rain cover instead of the black opaque ones.
