Review on Bell Automotive Universal Baja Blanket Bench Seat Cover - 22-1-56259-8 by Marco Hubbard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I figured it would probably fit a regular sized bench seat in a full size pickup truck and I was right!

I asked for a few sizes before purchasing but never got an answer, but figured it would probably fit a full sized seat in a full scale pickup that was the same size as my 1968 Cadillac Eldorado . The bottom of my seat measured 54 inches across the seat bottom from driver to passenger side. Luckily I was right and it fits! A few things that didn't fit/work for me are the holes in the headrest. My car doesn't fit. There are headrests that have pre-sewn headrest holes with a rubber band around the hole and two small shoelaces to tie them together when you're not using the headrest holes, but I still had huge gaping holes at the top of my seats. A friend sewed up the holes but the tops of the seats still look wrinkled. With the universal fit I expected to have to do a bit of work so it's not really a problem. The seat belt openings are huge too. ! My car has 3 lap belts in the front, each with 2 seat belts that go through holes, but I could probably thread about 15 seat belts through them, again, my girlfriend will sew them partially closed. The black stretch material tears easily where I tightened it and there was a little screw or something behind it and it nearly ripped the material, very thin but oddly very strong. It's not perfect and with the universal fit I expected it to take some work to get everything working properly! For me it would work much better if the backrest was fully closed, but when you slide it over the backrests for your seats it only pops out about 4-6 inches and the rest is open. I'm still digging this, it works for me! I am attaching a photo of my salon/seating before and after!
