Make sure you look closely at the housing on the new set, it will help you figure out how to remove the old ones without breaking anything. One of the 4 buttons had a light that did not work. These switches are very difficult to install and I do not want to take the other 3 controls back out of the steering wheel to return all 4 switches. How can I get a replacement for the switch that controls the radio source/program. Upper left control. Thank You

The design of the steering wheel is easy. WIRING was hard to disconnect and reconnect was not real hard, but not easy. This was not a knock on the replacement parts but on GM not putting enough wiring to make it easy.

got the volume/seek switch replaced--- the down volume works, but up does notthese are a pain to install, but i am going to try the wire method someone on here suggested. the lower buttons on mine have ZERO slack so i cant even get those out.will see, but these may get returned--especially if they function as poorly as the volume control. nice thing is that the lighting DID work on the one i got replaced

The lower volume button does not work. When pressing down on the button volume button, it tune the radio. Other than that, the product does what it is meant for. Because of the difficulties in replacing these buttons, I am not going to bother with exchanging for another one. Bought these buttons in November and just got around to installing them they look just like the factory ones. The only problem is one of them doesn't light up still but the buttons work fine. And there is no way to contact the seller for a replacement. Seller contacted me and sent me a new button to replace the defective one. 5 🌟

It took me less than 30 minutes to replace all 4 switches. Good for the price and illumination is an improvement from original.

I am okay with the purchase. My original ones were completely out so I am happy to be able to see them at night. The add claims that they are LED’s inside, however if they are, they are no brighter than the ones that come with the truck. I have replaced my original lights with LED’s in other vehicles and they are 10 times brighter. That is why I want to say these are not LED’s, but honestly I can’t say for sure unless I open them up. was thrilled to see I could get these buttons on revain and such a great price, I looked on YouTube how to take out the old ones and pop in the new ones took about 5 minutes, so happy to have my button light up again on my steering wheel.

Bought the 4 pack of buttons for spares in case any other buttons burnt out. I had 2 that were, so I replaced those ones. The driver information button and arrow do not light up at all. The source and program button do. They work AND light up. The buttons work, but my original ones worked too, the only reason I replaced them was because of no backlighting. And one didn’t work. Received on time and well packaged. Product as described and easy to install. Used a small screwdriver to pry out, used same tool to release clip for wire harness. Fished a small wire between wires on harness and pulled both ends of the wire to reconnect to controls as I placed back into steering wheel. Could hear the clips go into control, pulled on one end of the wire to remove it from under control then seated control into wheel. All four light up and work as the factor ones did. Great…

Great product. But a little hard to install. This is not the product fault but the car manufacturers fault. Product is great.

You really do need a pick tool to plug some of these suckers in, however the lighting is decent and the buttons work as they should. Good replacements!.

WARNING! Plugging in the wires on the back of the buttons will make you wanna die.🤬Quality of the buttons is over all pretty good. Only reason for the 4 stars is because the backlighting is not very bright.

I ordered these because the originals on my 2005 Silverado were burned out and worn. I'd recommend removing the steering wheel as it makes the installation much easier. I gave them 4 stars because the bulbs could be brighter, but overall I'm happy with them.

The Black Finish has started to come off the Volume Button, It was over 10 years before the original buttons started to wear off. update 01/13/2021 -Purchased 2 years ago black coating and lettering is worn off. look worse than original that lased 13 years

I have bought these about a year ago to replace my steering wheel controls on my 2005 gmc sierra. These look great compared to the old ones that were worn and had burnt out lights. They are a chore to install though, highly recommend watching some how to videos. I did have an issue with one of the buttons recently and contacted the seller. They were quick to help and solved my problem in a very fast manner. I would highly recommend these as replacements.

Radio station changer will sporadically change the FM to AM or CD or activate Onstar. Poor quality. Illumination stopped working not long after installation.

I ordered these because several of my old controls were worn and a few of the lights had gone out. These seem to be good quality, but after installation none of the backlighting worked on any of them. The functions work fine though.
