Difficult to connect to the network
The app seems handy and you can control the LED strip directly over Wi-Fi right out of the box which is nice. No matter what I tried to connect it to the network to control it via the smart home device, it turned out to be impossible. It's 2.4GHz, which should work, but no matter what, the controller never connects to the network. It's also a bit annoying that the colors don't flow through the app. So a 7 color cycle is literally a fast or slow cycle between the 7 colors, not a nice color transition between them.
