Please note that you need a special connector for connecting to the tape in the kit. I had to buy a cable for such needles (mom - mom just found one) and a regular connector with wires and solder them. Maybe there is a ready-made adapter from tape to needles, but I went to several profile stores on the radio market and found only such a solution. Everything else is great, works well.

The app seems handy and you can control the LED strip directly over Wi-Fi right out of the box which is nice. No matter what I tried to connect it to the network to control it via the smart home device, it turned out to be impossible. It's 2.4GHz, which should work, but no matter what, the controller never connects to the network. It's also a bit annoying that the colors don't flow through the app. So a 7 color cycle is literally a fast or slow cycle between the 7 colors, not a nice color…

Make sure you install and use the pro app. The ability to control colors with Alexa is amazing. I installed 2 sets of 5050 lights in my kitchen above and below cabinets a while ago and these controllers give you a lot more control over them. I grouped them so Alexa would send the same command to both sets of lights at the same time. I installed a third controller in another room and attached any extra strips left over from the kitchen install and it works just as well as the kitchen. Very easy…

Aside from the fact that green and red are switchable and I have to buy extra cables/clamps they are pretty good. I have them all over my basement/bar and in many different places. I think I have about 21 of these so far. I will buy more for other areas. The app is great and easy to use. I like the grouping features that make life easier depending on what I'm trying to do.
