Review on Florsheim Men's Black Nappa Loafer Shoes for Men by Joshua Follansbee

About 25 years ago, a salesman told me that if I tried these shoes on, I would buy a pair. I did and I did! I've been wearing Rivas for 17-18 years in both the US and Australia. Incredible comfort! The best shoes I've ever had. I have never worn any other shoes except in very wet conditions. Then about 6-7 years ago there was no Riva in Florsheim, Australia. I bought the heavier Comfortech. Everything was fine but it wasn't Riva. Then this year in Australia only hard soled shoes were available, nothing like the Riva. The seller said that Florsheim no longer makes Riva-style shoes. I googled the question "Are Florsheim Comfortechs still the most comfortable shoes in the world?" To my surprise, I found that the original Rivas were in production all along, just not available in Australia?! I read other reviews where people had the same initial experience as me and I knew this was the real Riva. Anyway, I ordered a pair online and have been wearing them for a couple of weeks. Impressively! These are awesome shoes. These are "the most comfortable shoes in the world!"
