This is the 859992 model, a 75 ohm surge arrester. We need that. But be careful! There are a number of listings that show the wrong picture making it easy to accidentally get the 859902 model which is a 50 ohm model! Installation is easy. As far as we know, it hasn't had a nearby lightning strike to perform its function. As with any insurance or protection, you hope you never need it, but you want it to be there and ready when you need it. This is a pretty easy and necessary part. Be sure to get the right one for your system! This is a cheap and easy guarantee for expensive equipment and gives me 5 stars.
