Review on Bo Nash Ironslide Tabletop 65 Inch by Chris Horton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Here are some installation tips that have helped me succeed

I just mounted mine directly to 5" x 2" chipboard. I faced all the problems everyone warned about, but I paid extra attention - and it worked. - The backing material wants to tear into strips, but be careful, after a few centimeters it will come off in one piece along the entire short edge. I ironed the piece first (on the side of the fabric) to remove the heavier creases from the folding in the packaging. That heat may have helped loosen the adhesive a bit, allowing me to recover from the carrier tear that originally occurred. - The adhesive and very thin foam backing really want to stick to itself and most importantly your fingers. If it sticks to your fingers, it will appear to separate the foam from the fabric and stick to your fingers instead. Solution: Once you've removed enough of the protective film, tear off a few pieces of the protective film and use it between your fingers and the sticky side to hold it while you peel off more of the protective film. - I peeled off five or six inches all the way, pressed it against my board and held the new glued edge in place (with a few ripped pieces of the backing) while I peeled off the next five or six inches. Repetition. Doing just a few inches at a time has led to great success. I was in a hurry with an area and got a small area where the fabric folded and stuck to itself so be patient. Glue on fingers and scissors can be easily removed with a little alcohol. the clothing. I didn't add extra batting because I like a hard surface.
