Review on Alice in Wonderland Gold Edition Playing Cards by Clint Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So very beautiful and they are playable, however.

Some pros and cons of this deck! Pros: Obviously the print is amazing and unique! fun/lovely card game for a casual friend who isn't a card guru Cards a) shift and move too much when you try to straighten them; The surface of the paper is much smoother than a traditional deck of cards. b) Shuffling cards is more difficult because the cards are not as flexible as in a standard deck. are sealed, so if you're using them as your only deck, be prepared that you might have to buy another set in a few months (if you don't like the worn look, it might actually be a neat deck for that and give it a aged vintage look). I noticed that this is a Kickstarter item. I'm sure some true card enthusiasts were upset that it was fully funded but not printed on standard playing card vinyl! However, I wasn't a donor, so I don't mind! I'm saving this deck for a few hands with non-card nerd friends because I know my card nerd friends will find this deck tedious to shuffle. Beautiful illustrations again and definitely a nifty novelty to have if you are Alice. in Wonderland, but I had to deduct a star for the actual quality of the map. :/
