Cannot be seen in the photo, but quite small for a cup. I often find this unwieldy so get a full size french press so it's great when I feel like it. I usually have a drip and it's great for these times. The coffee is intense but pleasant. You can try your ratio, it's a good size to experiment with. Glass seems fragile so be careful. The filter cap also doesn't fit the spout, so you have to use very coarse ground coffee or you could spill it. Easy to clean and takes up very little storage space. A few extra circular filters would be nice.
