Design-wise decision. My mouse pad is gray, and the rest of my desk and chair are red. The red mouse was far less expensive than usual at one store. Turns out, though, that she has a really audible click! All my mice are quiet, both at the office and at home, so I didn't understand what had changed. The plastic is really sharp around the edges and could easily cause serious injury. As part of this evaluation, I was given a file to edit. Moreover, the wheel makes a low rumbling sound, though not as noticeable as the buttons. In other words, the impression of a low-quality item. To top it all off, I don't think it's meant for a laptop computer. Still, it's still a significant deal. It's a shame that even $700 was spent on it today. All well, maybe I can get used to it.
