Very cute, love the design and fit. XS for my 6 lb chihuahua. It keeps you warm, but due to its construction it is designed to be put on quickly and is not a full-fledged sweater. I have another one with the same design and when the dog tilts his head down the back tries to pop out. The bottom strap prevents it from going higher but still leaves a gap. Then this part does not warm him. If your dog isn't constantly sniffing, the jacket should fit just fine. I tried loosening the front strap thinking it would help loosen up my back but that didn't happen as the material is stiff. The inner material is soft and warm and ideal for California winters. If I go to the mountains, I would take fleece thermal underwear with me, which helps to insulate better. I love the fit and the style. He gets lots of compliments.
