Superb Projector with Wireless Screen Sharing

DBPOWER has launched another affordable yet powerful projector in a compact body. This device offers a feature that my previous DBPOWER projector didn't have: wireless screencasting. This is also the reason why the projector unfortunately did not get 5 stars. The picture quality was excellent and I held the projector far enough away from the wall to project an image about 75 inches in size. The image isn't bright enough to be clearly visible in my room with the LED lighting on, but this doesn't negatively impact my use case, e.g. B. Watching movies at night in places where there is no television. The sound on the device is sufficient. for normal use. You don't get immersive audio from this device, but you can connect external speakers to get there if you need to. A 30 second video is included for demonstration purposes showing some beautiful Australian tourist attractions. All images shown here are streamed using Chromecast Ultra. In addition to VGA, AV and HDMI inputs, you also get media playback from USB sticks and SD cards. It's pretty neat. The projector's remote control is beautiful and elegant. It uses two AAA batteries (not included, which is a bit annoying). The battery cover is flimsy, I felt like I was about to break it. However, the menus are easy to navigate, and I particularly appreciate the ease with which I can change the orientation of the display. Mounting screw under the projector which can be used for a single point ceiling mount and I'm pretty sure it will work with any camera tripod too which is a great feature (DBPOWER - if not please do!). great device. I love its simplicity and ease of use, it has multiple input options and comes in a nice carrying case. My test case used an HDMI input, a wired connection to a phone, and a wireless connection to a phone. I tested with Pixel 3XL, Pixel 4A 5G and iPhone 12. Setting up the iPhone was easy. Not a funny thing, and the screencasting works out of the box. androids. not as much. The casting function didn't work for me despite several attempts. I could probably get the wired version to work, but that was a. compromise b. came with the need to allow the installation of unapproved third-party applications. I suggest DBPower to host all the applications they need on the PlayStore. You shouldn't expect a user to enable admin privileges just to perform screencasts.
