I have used both this pad and the BulbHead ramp (with hand pump). ObboMed has a dual plug with an inflation valve at the top and no quick-deflation valve at the bottom, which is a big plus. The BulbHead ramp pump required more force to use the pump than to inflate by mouth and there was no one-way valve to hold the air so it was much more difficult to inflate. After using both, I preferred ObboMed. Pillows, be aware that no matter what pillow you use, it has a finite lifespan. Heat welded seams can only withstand a certain number of repeated uses before failing.
