Really effective for taking off

Insanely easy to use. Doubling as a traditional tape measure is convenient and useful for smaller scale measurements. The only downside would be the poor visibility of the red laser dot in direct sunlight, but that applies to all laser gauges.

Great idea. A good product.

Ordered one that was 1/4 inch smaller per foot. Returned this and a new one to within 1/16 of an inch of 10 feet. Good laser and LED display. The band has a magnet at the end and is surprisingly strong. Let's see how he behaves at work.

Looked good but the laser reading was too erratic

The ribbon was nice, felt good in the hand, the small screen was easy to use and easy to see, and the controls were reasonably well placed. But I sent it back because the laser part wasn't accurately measured. That was from my 3-4 inch series.

Do not buy: measuring and marking tools

Package received and opened. I know it's easy to use, but there was no manual inspiration with the laser. The metal tape measure at the end of the tab is half broken. The laser was not consistent in the measurement. I had to go back immediately. At first I thought to buy it again but canceled the reorder.

Linear displacement semi-complex

Excellent tape measure and total distance. Got this as a gift for my father in construction. He's loved it so far. The only downsides are the ease of use. The basic measurement functions are simple. Some of the other features it's capable of are a bit more difficult to fully understand.

Maybe a good product, but not mine.

Came dead so I connected it to a USB charger. The battery indicator blinked red and then green as if charging. After a few hours it was solid green but wouldn't turn on. Pressing the power button and/or pressing and holding did nothing. I tried again later that day but the battery died. Less than 24 hours without battery. i give it back

Accuracy issue/needs understanding

So there are magnets at the end of the tape measure (which is nice) and it slides back (not very nice). The end of the tape measure (the 90 degree black part that you hook onto things slides back and forth a good 1/8 inch. So be careful when measuring with this tape. Also, the screen is good! If it If there was a guide that had everything better I would give it a higher rating.

Generally good. Only 3 sharpenings: 1. This is rare, but it can be problematic to raise the laser if the surface is a bit shiny. 2. Does not block the automatic fixation of the tape measure when extended.3. The laser measures nothing under 1 foot. Can't believe it's really supposed to be like this. You seem to have assumed that most people would just use a tape measure for anything under 1 foot. Better than most considering the magnets are strong, the tape is standard/metric and the tape holds…

Easy to use! for linear measurement

If I've recently made a good purchase, the Prexiso laser meter helps me carry two instruments in one hand, which saves me time when I need to measure (I'm a realtor and contractors) . I used it in meters but inches, feet are also available in tape measure and laser indicator.
