Here are a few test reports on the older model, this test report refers to the 2021 Asus Chromebook CM3 Flip. It is not removable. This is a fun little Chromebook rocket. The 3:2 aspect ratio is a joy to read and work with. Pen support and light weight make it a great tablet. The screen is very good for a resolution of 1366-912 thanks to the 12-inch screen. 235 nits of brightness are enough. The battery life is insane! I got 13 hours on the first day of use. At the time of this review I have 50% left and just over 6.5 hours for the weekend. Travel without charging! The speakers are good for a smaller device and don't worry about the Mediatek 8183 processor, it runs smoothly. I've always liked Intel Core processors, maybe a Pentium Gold once or twice, and I worried about Mediatek, but suffice it to say that one day of use convinced me my fears were totally unfounded. Oh, the nice smooth and almost velvety feel on the palm rest and the almost glassy feel on the trackpad, along with the nice aluminum cover, make this device feel a lot more expensive than it is. Highly recommended!
