I used to have one (battery box) that promised miraculous changes, but that wasn't why I bought it (and later lost it ) but because I thought it would be nice and I could stimulate circulation, release tension and massage the product into my skin; which he did remarkably well. If it gets really firm and firming with continued use, then I just haven't used it long enough to get those benefits. It was an uncomfortable place to massage and fingers are dirty. I use a battery powered device that fits well in this area as well as other parts of my face. I've forgotten how much tension I'm holding and it feels incredibly good. For that reason alone, I recommend it as a reward, if not a necessity. I think it's more effective on the scar tissue and still has a relaxing effect. Excellent quality and delivery within the promised time frame. Battery powered device requires one AA battery. Update - recommendations suck. Despite the poor translation, it's quite easy to understand. The second piece has two oddly shaped "heads" that pull together and smooth the skin, which is very effective in relieving tension. A few days later I found that he had taken the battery as well. I've added this but found no added benefit by rolling it over my face with no vibration. It's a bit embarrassing that I didn't realize that bit devices accept a battery. The T-shaped massager needs one to be effective, but not a two-headed device.
