Looks beautiful, sleek and modern. actual availability, disappointed. I had a previous Commander in my car and I liked him (I used the remote to drive). my next opinion. First off, the touch sensors suck and linger if they get a nudge at all. I think they tried to be too cute with all the options on the screen (some people like to see a lot). when driving, only the channel and the artist/song are required. The display was too busy and hard to see at times. The old version had a simple LCD display. I prefer to use the remote as the main buttons can be found without looking. The new remote control has no bumps that you can feel. With the new remote control, you cannot set direct numbers (channels), first press directly on the remote control, then enter the channel number and . On the main unit, press the channel on the screen, then input the number you want, then GO on the screen. I feel like I'm spending way too much time looking at the screen rather than the road (I've tried on the screen), especially with the touchscreen issues I mentioned. In the previous version you could set the main unit to receive direct, scanning or preset (mine was set to direct but you could scroll the main unit wheel or use the up/down buttons on the remote). This version also does not include a remote control in the main package (if you get a remote control for it), you need to download the update to your media device and connect it to the main device with micro USB to use the remote control. At the time of writing this review, I have to admit that I'm still not entirely sure whether I'll keep this version or bring back a new old version. I recommend installing it, but if you're familiar with basic wiring and car stereo cables, go for it. . I have not made any connections in the car wiring.
